Withover 25 years of experience in foreign trade and customs law, Jaqueline bringsdeep knowledge of the global trade environment. Throughout her career, she hasadvised national and international clients from various industries on complexforeign trade matters.
Jaqueline holds a Law degree fromUniversidad Panamericana, with a strong academic background and extensiveexperience in foreign trade and customs. Prior to joining Mijares, Jaquelinewas an associate at Chevez, Ruiz, Zamarripa, and Baker & McKenzie, as wellas a partner at García Seimandi, Flores y Villeda, S.C. Later, as anindependent advisor, she participated in key proceedings before the Ministry ofFinance and Public Credit and the Federal Court of Administrative Justice.
Jaqueline has extensive expertise instrategic areas such as customs dispute resolution and litigation,interpretation of treaties and international trade agreements, and advisingcompanies with the implementation and compliance of export enhancement programs(IMMEX, PROSEC, CIVA). She has participated in NAFTA binational panels andrepresented clients on antidumping and countervailing duties matters.Recognized among the top 100 foreign trade advisors by Estrategia Aduanerasince 2018, she has also excelled as Deputy Coordinator of the Foreign TradeCommittee at the Mexican Bar Association.
