Lorenza Langarica

Lorenza has participated in corporate, mergers and acquisitions, real estate industries and financing, including joint ventures, corporate and asset acquisitions, as well as tourist developments, with experience in advising buyers, sellers, and investors in cross-border merger and acquisition transactions, also in the purchase and sell of private companies, buyouts, joint ventures and divestitures in Mexican target companies.

She has been an integral part in several sales of highly valuable assets owned or controlled by Mexican governmental agencies. She also focuses her practice on legal and regulatory aspects of real estate investments and strategic transactions in real estate including residential, industrial, agricultural matters, hotels, resorts y tourism, manufacturing, commercial, retail and construction industries, where she is frequently active in the negotiating ofthe financing and refinancing of assets.

She is an Independent Director of Credit Suisse Mexico (Banco, Casa de Bolsa and Grupo Financiero), as well as member of the Audit Committee of such entities.  She acts as Alternate Secretary of the Board of Directors of Trans Union de México and Dun & Bradstreet (Buró de Crédito– largest credit reporting agencies in Mexico), and Alternate Secretary of the Board of Directors of Consorcio ARA (top 3 residential developer in Mexico).

She also serves on non-for-profit organizations as a member of the Audit and Legal Committee of the Centro Médico ABC (American British Cowdray Hospital), as well as on the board of Abogadas MX, and is a member of the Mexico Chapter of Women Corporate Directors, where she was formerly part of the Executive Committee.
