Martín has experience in corporate finance and energy and infrastructure.

Regularly represents issuers and underwriters in equity issuances, structured equity transactions (FIBRA, FIBRA E, CERPI and CKD), multiple offering programs, corporate and labeled/sustainable debt issuances, equity and debt takeover bids and complex multi-financing structures involving the issuance of structured/project bonds in Mexico and international markets. He also advises issuers on regulatory and compliance matters and procedures before regulatory authorities.

Martin has a broad experience in the energy and infrastructure sector, where he has represented entities in public bidding processes and in the development, financing and regulatory matters related with toll-roads, airports, and renewable energy projects.

In relation to the above, Martín advises issuers and companies in regulated sectors in the adoption of ESG standards, in the implementation of compliance programs aligned with the ESG strategy of companies and leads the firm's ESG/Compliance practice.

Following recent regulatory developments in telecommunications and broadcasting, on October 7, 2025, the President sent to the Senate her proposal for candidates for commissioners to be part of the Plenum of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission ("CRT"). On October 14, the Senate ratified the appointment of the commissioners proposed by the President and on October 16, 2025, the President appointed Norma Solano Rodríguez as Chairwoman of the CRT. With this, as of October 17, 2025, the constitutional reform on organic simplification published on December 20, 2024 in the Official Gazette of the Federation (“DOF”) came into force, by which the Federal Telecommunications Institute ("IFT") is extinguished, and the CRT starts operations as the sole authority in telecommunications and broadcasting.

The Senate has approved the tax reform proposal for fiscal year 2026 submitted by the Federal Executive, which include: (I) Federal Revenue Law ("FRL"), (II) Federal Fiscal Code ("FFC"), (III) Excise Tax Law ("ETL") and (IV) Federal Duties Law ("FDL"). It should be noted that, as further discussed, the FRL contains amendments to the Income Tax Law ("ITL") and the Value Added Tax Law ("VATL").

On October 23, 2025, the National Energy Commission (the "CNE", per its acronyms in Spanish) published in the Federal Official Gazette the General Administrative Provisions that set forth the legal, technical, and financial terms to apply for the issuance and amendment of power generation and storage permits, as well as their validity (the "Regulations", per its acronym in Spanish).
