Ignacio has experience in general corporate law, specializing in mergers and acquisitions and real estate transactions. He has advised buyers, sellers and investors in mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic partnerships. His expertise includes advising entrepreneurs and venture capital firms investing in start-up and early stage investments. He has been involved in transactions in the fintech sector.

He has wide experience in cross-border and international transactions, which constitute most of his practice until now, representing Mexican and foreign entities.

He is also focused on structuring and implementing complex real estate transactions, representing property owners, developers and investors.

On April 16, 2025, Mexico’s President published in the Official Gazette of the Federation the new Law on Public Procurement, Leasing, and Services (the "Law"), through the decree that enacts the Law on Public Procurement, Leasing, and Services and amends, adds, and repeals various provisions of the Federal Law on Republican Austerity, the Law on Social and Solidarity Economy, and the General Law on Cooperative Societies.
